Megan León

Megan Nishio has extensive experience in health administration, currently serving as Chief of Staff in both the Office of the Chief Executive Officer and the Office of the Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer at Duke University Health System since June 2017. Previous roles at Duke University Health System include Strategic Services Associate in Perioperative Services and Administrative Fellow at Duke University Hospital. Prior to this, Megan held positions at Palmetto Health as a Graduate Assistant in Community Health Improvement, Providence Health SC as a Graduate Assistant in Population Health, and WellStar Health System as a Lifestyle Instructor and Health Promotion Intern in Community Education & Outreach. Megan began their career as a Bus Operator with the UGA Campus Transit System. Academically, Megan holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion and Behavior from The University of Georgia and a Master of Health Administration from the University of South Carolina.
