Rob Chess

Rob Chess has extensive leadership experience in the biotechnology and business sectors. Since November 1991, Rob Chess has served at Nektar Therapeutics, holding various titles including Chairman, CEO, and President. Currently, Rob Chess serves as Chairman for Issio Solutions and BigHat Biosciences, and maintains a role as Lead Independent Director and Board Member at Twist Bioscience. Additionally, Rob Chess is a Lecturer at Stanford Graduate School of Business and has held various board positions with organizations such as Artisan Bio and OPX Biotechnologies. Rob Chess co-founded Biota Technology and served as Chairman until July 2020. Educationally, Rob Chess earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Caltech.
