Karin Zhang

Karin Zhang is an experienced engineering leader currently serving as the VP of Engineering at Twitch since May 2016, where responsibilities include overseeing the Money organization and enhancing Twitch’s monetization strategy for products. Prior to Twitch, Karin held multiple engineering management roles at PayPal from April 2007 to May 2016, leading teams in the Core Payments Team and overseeing high-visibility projects. Karin's career began at MATRA Systems, Inc., where significant contributions included designing and implementing enterprise-scale production systems. Karin holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of San Francisco.
