Michael Comperda

Michael Comperda is the VP of Product Core Engineering at Twitch. Michael has held this position since September 2020. Prior to that, they were the VP of Platforms & Services from November 2018 to September 2020. Before that, they were the VP of Client Engineering from August 2016 to November 2018.

Comperda started their career at Solarchrome, where they were the founder from January 1997 to January 2000. Michael then moved to Solid Earth, Inc., where they worked as a developer from January 2000 to January 2007. In August 2007, they joined Curse as the CTO and remained there until August 2016, when they joined Twitch.

Michael Comperda received their Bachelor of Business Administration from The University of Alabama in Huntsville. Michael majored in Management Information Systems and General.

Michael Comperda reports to Christine Weber, CTO. They work with Anders Magnusson - Head of Application Security, Chiara Piccinotti - VP, Data Science & Business Strategy, and Adrienne Haik - VP, Technical Program Management.
