Sofia Sarperi is a Master's student at the Università di Pisa, currently working on a thesis project focused on the Aurora Radio Signal induced by exoplanets in host star spectra, under the supervision of Professor Steven Neil Shore. Concurrently, Sofia is the founder and content creator of ScienceStream on Twitch and serves as the Social Media Manager for Pint of Science World. Previous experience includes roles as a Scientific Explainer with Associazione Festival della Scienza, a Summer Research Student in the LEAPS Program at Leiden University, a Science Communicator at Internet Festival, and a Scientific Demonstrator at LUS - Ludoteca Scientifica Pisa. Sofia holds a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Università di Pisa and is pursuing a Master's in Astronomy and Astrophysics through the Erasmus Program at Leiden University.
