Tim Huang

Tim Huang is an experienced applied scientist with a robust background in data science and engineering. Currently serving as an Applied Scientist at Twitch since April 2025, Tim previously held roles at Thumbtack as a Senior Applied Scientist and Tech Lead, as well as at McKinsey & Company as an Analyst in Data Science. Tim's earlier experience includes internships at Sam Schwartz, Great Place to Work US, and FormFactor Inc., where skills were developed in backend development, data analysis, and machine learning. Additionally, Tim contributed to education as a Computer Science Mentor at Berkeley ANova, teaching computer science to middle school students. Tim holds a Master of Science in Data Science from Columbia University and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
