Kyle McDermott

Kyle McDermott is currently the Vice President of Finance at Two Chairs. Prior to this, they were the Vice President of Finance and Business Development at Mandala Space Ventures, where they led all finance and business development efforts for the company. Kyle also served as the Head of Finance and Business Development at Continuum Space Systems, the first portfolio company launched from Mandala Space Ventures. There, they played a critical role in Continuum’s formation and structuring, business model development, financial planning, fundraising, and establishing initial anchor customer relationships. Prior to their work in the commercial space industry, Kyle worked in finance at SpaceX for six years. Kyle began their career as a summer associate at Barclays and then worked as a global equity research analyst at Putnam Investments for four years.

Kyle McDermott has a Bachelor of Arts from Williams College in Economics and American Studies, an MBA from Yale University - Yale School of Management, and has completed an exchange program at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in International Management. Kyle also has a degree from the School for International Training in International Development and Microfinance, which they completed in Samoa, South Pacific.
