Andrew W. is a quantitative researcher currently on garden leave at Two Sigma, where employment began in July 2022. Previous experience includes a role as a research assistant in the Department of Economics at Harvard University from February 2019 to April 2022, contributing to econometric research published in The Econometrics Journal and working on development economics. Andrew also served as an undergraduate research fellow under Professor Xiaowei Zhuang, focusing on image analysis algorithms for neuron segmentation. Internship experiences include a quantitative research intern position at Two Sigma and a data science intern role at Precision Agriculture for Development. Research experience includes work as a student researcher in the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics and a summer research intern at the Sokolov Lab at Tufts University.
