David Buch is currently a Quantitative Researcher at Two Sigma, beginning in September 2023. Prior to this role, David completed a PhD in Statistics at Duke University from August 2019 to July 2023, where also served as a Modeling and Trading Intern at Two Sigma from May to August 2022. Additionally, David worked as a GRE Tutor at Next Step Test Preparation LLC from September 2017 to August 2019. David's earlier experience includes a position in advertising at The Daily Athenaeum in early 2016 and a role as a Line Server at Qdoba Restaurant Corporation in late 2013. David holds a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics from West Virginia University (2018-2019) and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Biophysics from the same institution (2014-2018), following attendance at Woodrow Wilson High School from 2010 to 2014.
