Hunter L.

Hunter L. serves as Deputy General Counsel and Executive Director at Two Sigma, with a tenure beginning in November 2015. Hunter's responsibilities include oversight of litigation, enforcement, and government affairs as Associate General Counsel, and previously as Senior Counsel and Government Affairs Counsel. Additionally, Hunter holds leadership roles as Chair of the EMEA-APAC Forum and Chair of the International Affairs Committee at Managed Funds Association since 2020. Prior experience includes a Senior Associate position at WilmerHale focusing on strategic response, public policy, and financial institutions, as well as a summer associate role. Hunter began a legal career with an internship at the Office of the Secretary of Defense. Hunter obtained a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of Virginia School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from The University of Alabama.
