Junda An is a software engineer at Two Sigma since January 2022 and previously worked as a data scientist intern at eBay from May 2021 to August 2021. Junda has academic research experience as an undergraduate researcher at William & Mary from May 2018 to May 2020, where Junda summarized and compared efficient algorithms on nonnegative matrix factorization and developed a novel initialization strategy for it, as well as defined the coordinate system of a hexagonal grid and proved certain tiling conditions. Additionally, Junda served as a teaching assistant at William & Mary for a class of 35 students from September 2017 to December 2017, helping facilitate the assignment grading and conducting weekly homework sessions.
