Lay Jain

Lay Jain is a highly skilled quantitative researcher with extensive experience in the field of artificial intelligence and machine learning. Currently employed at Two Sigma as a Quantitative Researcher, Lay previously held positions at the same company as a Quantitative Research Intern and at Five Rings LLC as a Quantitative Research Intern. Prior experience includes a Quantitative Researcher role at Citadel Securities and a UROP Researcher position at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where Lay conducted research on Equivariant and Spatial Transformer Networks and is currently investigating Unitary matrices for Reinforcement Learning. Lay also has a background in software development, having worked as a Back-end Developer at Mercari US and a Full Stack Developer at MIT CSAIL. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in AI/ML and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Physics, both from MIT. Additionally, Lay holds a high school diploma from Disha Delphi Public School.
