Mark Roth

Mark Roth serves as a Managing Director at Two Sigma, where responsibilities include leading the Metadata initiative, co-creating the innovative research platform AlphaStudio, and overseeing the company's software architecture programs. With a strong focus on Data Observability, Discoverability, and Governance, Mark has contributed to numerous hallmark engineering cultural programs such as Hack Day and Internal Coding Competitions. Prior experience includes founding Octagon Software, LLC, where innovative mobile applications and games were developed, and holding a lead engineering role at Sun Microsystems. Mark holds both BS and MS degrees in Computer Science from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
