Michael Ty is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in quantitative development, software engineering, and leadership. Currently serving as Senior Vice President at Two Sigma since April 2021, Michael previously held the position of Vice President focusing on Fixed Income Engineering. Prior to Two Sigma, Michael worked at Citadel LLC from July 2017 to December 2020 as a Front Office Quantitative Developer for the Global Fixed Income fund, where responsibilities included developing risk and P&L infrastructures. Michael's career began at Microsoft, where positions included Software Development Engineer for anti-malware solutions and the Microsoft Education team, as well as an internship focused on internal tools and frameworks. Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science from Princeton University, completed in 2011, and graduated from Bergen County Academies in 2007.
