Virginia Lance

Virginia Lance currently serves as Vice President of External Affairs at Two Sigma, a position held since May 2023. Previously, Virginia held the role of Deputy Chief of Staff at the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative from February 2021 to April 2023 and was Chief of Staff/Project Manager on the Personnel Team during the Biden-Harris Transition Team from August 2020 to January 2021. Prior experience includes operations at the Overdeck Family Foundation, and several roles within the White House under Vice President Joe Biden, including Deputy Director of Operations and Director of Scheduling. Virginia also served as Administrative Manager at Planned Parenthood Federation of America and worked on the Presidential Inaugural Committee and Obama for America. Virginia's career began at the U.S. Department of Commerce, and Virginia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from the University of Pennsylvania.
