Peter Revay

Peter Revay has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Peter currently holds the position of Lead Computational Social Scientist at Two Six Technologies, starting in March 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Computational Social Scientist at the same company from January 2022 to March 2023. From 2018 to 2022, they served as a Research Scientist at Group W. Peter also worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Department of Computational and Data Sciences from 2014 to 2017. In 2015, they briefly worked as a Research Assistant at the Smithsonian Institution, Museum of Natural History. Before entering the field of computational and data sciences, they gained experience as a Teaching Assistant at the Department of Mathematics and Statistics from 2012 to 2014. Peter's earlier roles include working as a Content Editor at Tripomatic s.r.o. in 2011 and as a Staff Writer at Lidove noviny in 2009.

Peter Revay has an extensive education history. Peter obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Computational Social Science from George Mason University, where they studied from 2014 to 2018. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Sociology from Masaryk University Brno between 2011 and 2015. Additionally, Peter obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Mathematics and a Graduate Certificate in Complex Systems from the University of Vermont, where they studied from 2012 to 2014. Peter acquired their Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Masaryk University Brno, where they studied from 2007 to 2012. Peter also spent a brief period of time at Juniata College in 2010. At Masaryk University Brno, they earned another Bachelor's degree, this time in Sociology and Media Studies, between 2007 and 2010.
