Ray Battle

Ray Battle has a diverse work experience that includes roles as a Lead Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer at Two Six Technologies, where they worked on containerized backend services and built custom integrated solutions. Ray also served as a Research Engineer at the same company. Additionally, Ray has experience as a Software Engineer at Mediavine, where they developed high availability distributed systems and implemented new system features. Ray is also a Franchise Owner at Code Ninjas. Prior to their software engineering roles, Ray served in the US Army as a Cyber Security Analyst, Data Engineer, Systems Integrator, and Information Technology System Administrator. Ray also has experience as a First Assistant Manager at Regal Entertainment Group, where they oversaw theatre operations and managed staff. Ray is a member of the SANS/GIAC Advisory Board at GIAC Certifications.

Ray Battle has a Bachelor of Science degree from Liberty University, which they obtained between 2005 and 2009. Ray further pursued their education at the Center for Information Dominance (CID), Corry Station in 2016, where they completed the Joint Cyber Analysis Course (JCAC) with a focus on Cyber/Electronic Operations and Warfare. In 2020, Ray Battle enrolled at Colorado Technical University and earned a Master's degree in Computer Science in the field of Cyber Security Engineering. Additionally, they hold numerous certifications, including CompTIA CySA+ ce, CompTIA Security Analytics Expert, CompTIA Security Analytics Professional, Splunk Certified Admin, Splunk Certified Power User, Certified Ethical Hacker, Certified Network Defense Architect (CNDA), CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP), Network+, Security+, GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst (GCIA), GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
