Simon Moura

Simon Moura is a Lead AI and Machine Learning professional with extensive experience in forecasting infectious diseases and developing machine learning strategies. They served as a Research Associate at UCL from 2018 to 2020, where they focused on disease prediction using classical and deep learning models. Currently, Simon works at TWYN, leading hands-on research development and managing a data science team while transitioning the company to productionized large language models. They also have a PhD in Computer Science with a focus on machine learning from Université Grenoble Alpes, where their research spanned topics like multi-task learning and sentiment analysis.
