Gilad Shanan

Gilad Shanan has worked in various roles since 2011. Gilad began as an Assistant Teacher at The Ancona School in 2011, then moved on to become a Preschool Teacher at Smart Love Preschool in 2014. In 2016, they became a Teacher at The Montessori School of Englewood. In 2017, they enrolled in Dev Bootcamp to study full stack web development, and also began working as a Freelance Web Developer. In 2018, they began working as a Web Developer at Table XI. Gilad is currently open to opportunities, both freelance and full time, and is fluent in Ruby, Rails, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and PostgreSQL, and is learning React.

Gilad Shanan attended Goddard College from 2006 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies. Gilad then attended Wellspring Center from 2009 to 2011, where they obtained a Montessori Teaching Credential, ages 3-6 in Early Childhood Education and Teaching. In 2011, they were certified by MACTE in Montessori Teaching Credential, ages 3-6. In 2017, they attended Dev Bootcamp, where they completed an intensive 19 week full-stack web development program, focusing on TDD, OOD, empathetic teamwork, agile workflow, and pair programming.
