Hannah Green has a varied work experience, beginning in 2005 as a Math/English After-School Tutor at the Hyde Park Learning Resource Center. In 2007, they worked as an Office Intern for State Senator Kwame Raoul District Office, where they coordinated a key fundraising event with 25 attendees that raised over $10,000. From 2008-2011, they worked at the Michigan Maritime Museum as a Senior Deckhand and Museum Interpreter, where they provided fun, educational, historically accurate sailing experiences to up to 90 passengers each day. From 2011-2012, they worked as a Resident Assistant at Housing Opportunities and Maintenance for the Elderly (H.O.M.E.). From 2012-2015, they worked at OpinionLab as a Software Test Engineer and Scrum Master. From 2016-2019, they worked at Guaranteed Rate as a Project Manager Scrum Master, where they led IT Project Manager organizing 17 software teams and business counterparts to build all the software required to start a new joint venture mortgage company. Currently, they are working at Table XI as a Delivery Lead.
Hannah Green attended the University of Chicago from 2005 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. From 2009 to 2010, they attended Ben-Gurion University of the Negev and studied Hebrew Language, Middle East History and Politics. In 2021, they began pursuing a Master of Arts in Public Policy at the Harris School of Public Policy at the University of Chicago.
