Tim Smith

Tim Smith has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Tim started their career as a Display Advertising Sales Executive at Manchester Evening News in 1998. Later, they worked as a Strategy Manager and General Manager of the Digital division at Evening Standard from 2004 to 2010.

In 2013, Tim joined TXO Systems, where they held various roles including Procurement Director, COO, and Global Optics Director. Tim was responsible for the overall optical transceiver business and also had additional responsibilities for the marketing function. Tim was a board member and played a crucial role in providing professional asset management services and consultancy to the telecoms industry.

Since 2019, Tim has been the Managing Director of MMX Communications Services Limited, which is a part of the TXO Group. Tim leads a team that offers repair services for telecom equipment, specialized logistics services, and network design and operation for clients in various sectors.

Tim Smith completed their MBA in Business from the University of Glasgow from 2003 to 2006.
