Tamara Evans

Tamara Evans has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. Tamara recently worked at Tyk, starting in November 2018 as a Bid & Account Manager, where they managed customer expectations and handled pre-sales activities. In January 2021, they were promoted to Strategic Account Manager - EMEA, responsible for representing Tyk commercially and managing a portfolio of 50+ clients. In April 2022, they transitioned to the role of Senior Strategic Account Manager - EMEA.

Prior to Tyk, Tamara worked at Reading Room from December 2013 to November 2018. Tamara started as an Office Assistant and then progressed to New Business Coordinator, where they provided support to the New Business team, coordinated delivery teams, and tracked all new business activity. In May 2016, they were promoted to UK New Business Manager, responsible for operations management, strategic advice, and driving new business growth.

Additionally, Tamara had a leadership role at the University of Sunderland Students' Union as the RAG Committee Chair from July 2012 to April 2013.

Tamara Evans attended Towneley High School from 2002 to 2006. After graduating from high school, they enrolled in Nelson & Colne College from 2006 to 2008, where they pursued a BTEC in Performing Arts. Following this, from 2010 to 2013, Tamara attended the University of Sunderland, where they completed their BA (Hons) in Performing Arts with a specialization in Musical Theatre. Additionally, Tamara holds certifications, including being a member of BIMA (British Interactive Media Association) and receiving the Volunteer of the Year award in 2013 from the University of Sunderland Students' Union.
