Anna Silverman began their work experience in 1997 at TELUS, where they held various positions until 2004. In 2004, they joined Canadian Pacific Railway as a consultant for S&C Projects until 2007. From 2008 to 2008, they worked as a Project Manager-Consultant at Nexen Inc. and Shell Oil Company. In 2010, they became a Senior Project Manager-Consultant at BP until 2012. Later, from 2012 to 2013, they worked as a Project Manager-Consultant at Penn West Exploration. From 2013 to 2014, they served as a Senior Project Manager-Consultant at Husky Energy. Finally, since 2005, they have been the Managing Partner & CEO at Tykans Group Inc, an innovative information technology company specializing in breakthrough applications.

Anna Silverman has a diverse education history with a focus on project management, business management, and software development. Anna obtained a Business Management Diploma from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) in 2005. Anna also completed several certifications, including a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in 2007, a SCRUM Master Certificate in Agile Software Development in 2010, and a Computer Programming Certification in C, C++, and Structured Programming from SAIT in 1999. Additionally, they have taken courses in Project Management at SAIT from 2005 to 2007. In terms of other certifications, they have a Finance Certification from the Bank Association of Finance in 1995 and a Technical Diploma in Agriculture from the Technical Career Institute in 1994.
