Matt Wright is an experienced educator and coach with a focus on teaching and sports. Currently serving at Tyler ISD since July 2016 as a teacher and coach, Matt specializes in Economics and is the assistant boys soccer coach. Previous roles include teaching and coaching positions at Robert E. Lee High School, Spring ISD, and Pleasant Grove ISD, where responsibilities ranged from teaching World History to coaching various sports. Matt's professional experience also includes a substantial tenure at Sam's Club, where diverse roles were held from cart attendant to member services. Matt Wright holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from the University of Texas at Tyler, along with a high school diploma from Pine Tree High School.
