Brian Nelson

Brian Nelson has extensive experience in technical support and systems analysis, currently serving as the Technical Team Lead for Support Services at Tyler Technologies since November 2019, after holding the position of Software Support Specialist. Prior roles include Systems Analyst Supervisor at Athens-Clarke County and IT Security Analyst Specialist at the University of Georgia, where significant responsibilities included providing IT support and leading computer forensics investigations. With a foundational career starting as a Systems Analyst II and CAD Administrator for Athens-Clarke County, Brian also has law enforcement experience as a sworn officer. Educational credentials include a degree in Criminal Justice Studies, Computer Science, and Mathematics from the University of Georgia, along with P.O.S.T Basic Peace Officer Certification from the Northeast Georgia Police Academy.
