John Kane

John Kane is currently the Chief Innovation Officer at Tyme. Prior to this, they were the General Manager of Innovation at Commonwealth Bank from March 2018 to December 2018. John has also served as the Head of Innovation at Tyme Digital from July 2015 to February 2018 and as the Chief Executive Officer of TYME Banking from June 2014 to July 2015. Prior to joining Tyme, John was the Chief Operating Officer at Tyme Capital from July 2012 to May 2014. John started their career at Standard Bank in January 2009 as an Implementation Manager and held this position until April 2012.

John Kane has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of the Witwatersrand, a PDM from the University of the Witwatersrand, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology and Philosophy from the University of Johannesburg. John also attended St. Stithians College.

John Kane reports to Coenraad Jonker, Executive Chairman and Co-Founder. They are on a team with Aaron Foo - Head of Strategy & Special Projects, Chris Bennett - Chief Technology Architect and Director (Tyme Vietnam), and Anne Bastock - Head of Finance.
