Located on Pilgrim Street in the heart of Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyneside Cinema is one of the major cultural attractions in the city and a film and media arts venue of national significance.

Supported by the Arts Council as a National Portfolio Organisation and by the BFI, the Tyneside Cinema is a unique combination of cinema, arts venue, heritage attraction and vibrant social hub. We welcome
over 500,000 visitors to our buildings every year.

Our mission is to inspire positive change in the lives of the people of the North East by providing
them with access to a programme and destination where they can see, learn about and participate
in film, artist film and film heritage.
