Mike McGehee

Chief Scientist and Cofounder at Tynt Technologies

Mike McGehee is a Chief Scientist and Cofounder at Tynt Technologies since 2020. Prior to this, they were a Professor at the University of Colorado Boulder from 2018, where they were a Professor in the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering and the Materials Science and Engineering Program and a Fellow of the Renewable and Sustainability Energy Institute. Theirresearch focused on perovskite solar cells and dynamically tinting windows. Before that, they were a Professor at Stanford University from 2000.

Mike McGehee attended Douglas Southall Freeman High School from 1986 to 1990, where they obtained their High School diploma. Mike then attended Princeton University from 1990 to 1994, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Physics. Finally, they attended UC Santa Barbara from 1994 to 1999, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD).
