Ian Miley

Ian Miley is currently the Design Principal at Type Five and has served as a Design Critic at Harvard University Graduate School of Design since 2021. They are also a Lecturer at UC Berkeley College of Environmental Design, a position they began in 2024. In previous roles, Ian worked as a Designer at Lundberg Design and Jensen Architects, and completed internships at leading firms, including Barkow Leibinger in Berlin. Ian holds a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley, and is pursuing a Master of Architecture from Harvard University Graduate School of Design.
