Warren Hui

Warren Hui is an experienced investment professional with a strong background in venture capital and investment banking. As a Partner and Co-Founder at Soul Ventures since February 2021, Warren focuses on investments in consumer internet, AI, and deep tech, supporting a portfolio that includes notable companies like OpenAI, Epic Games, Reddit, SpaceX, and Neuralink. In July 2023, Warren became a Venture Partner at Type One Ventures, where the emphasis is on startups that are advancing technologies critical for progressing towards a Type I Civilization. Additionally, Warren serves as an Advisor at Smash Capital, a firm specializing in high-growth consumer internet and technology investments. Prior to these roles, Warren was a Vice President in Investment Banking at Morgan Stanley from January 2015 to February 2021. Warren holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Southern California.
