Jaskaran Singh

Jaskaran Singh is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in software development and engineering management across several prominent companies. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Engineering at Typeface since May 2024, Jaskaran previously held the role of Senior Director of Software Engineering at TaxBit, where oversight of critical components for tax and accounting products was achieved. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Engineering at Attentive, where a strategy for personalization was developed, and as Engineering Manager at Facebook, where leadership of the Video Ads business was accomplished. Jaskaran's tenure at Microsoft included significant contributions as a Principal Software Engineering Manager and Senior Software Development Engineer, playing a key role in the founding of the Office 365 business unit. Jaskaran began a career in software engineering at Ixia Communications and Cypress Semiconductors and holds a BE in Computer Engineering from Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology and an MS in Computer Science from the University of Southern California.
