Leigh Katharine Smith

Leigh Katharine Smith, PhD, currently serves as the Senior Director of Research at Typeform and a Lecturer at the University of California, Davis, where upper division undergraduate Psychology courses in the Science of Interpersonal Relationships are taught. With extensive experience in product research, Leigh has held significant roles at various organizations, including Lead Product Researcher at Productboard and Group User Researcher at DISCO. Previous positions also include Senior Product Researcher at SurveyMonkey and Research Scientist at Rutgers University Hospital, where Leigh contributed to the development of evidence-based care strategies. Holding a PhD in Social Psychology from the University of California, Davis, along with a diverse academic background, Leigh's research expertise encompasses medical and mental health technology, human-computer interactions, as well as social psychological phenomena such as close relationships and well-being.
