Althea Kennett

Althea Kennett has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Althea started their career as a Switchboard Operative at Cox Insurance Retail Services in 2001. After that, they worked as a Design Assistant at iD Creative (part of Print Plus, Bradford). In 2003, they joined VISHAY PM ONBOARD LIMITED as a Marketing Executive, where they stayed until 2010. Althea then moved on to Althea Design Solutions, working as a Graphic Designer from 2010 to 2013. Althea then transitioned to Bingley Grammar School, where they served as a Marketing and Communications Officer for nearly a decade before moving to their current role as the Marketing Manager at TYRI Lights in 2023.

Althea Kennett's education history begins at Bingley Grammar School from 1992 to 1997. After completing their secondary education, they attended Bradford & Ilkley Community College in 1997-1998, where they obtained a BTEC Diploma MERIT in Foundation Art & Design. From 1998 to 2001, Althea Kennett pursued a 2:1 BA(Hons) degree in Design & Art Direction at The Manchester Metropolitan University. In 2004-2005, they further expanded their education by completing a Professional Diploma in Marketing at CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing, for which they received a Pass/Credit.
