Rebecca Smith has a diverse work experience starting from 2013. Rebecca worked as a Research Assistant at Boston University School of Theology, a Case Manager at FamilyAid Boston, and an Administrative Coordinator at the Boston University School of Theology Center for Practical Theology.
In 2015, Rebecca became an Interfaith Fellow at the Louis D. Brown Peace Institute & BU School Theology Religion and Conflict Transformation Program. The following year, they took on the role of a Resident Assistant at Boston University, where they organized residential events focused on various aspects of wellness.
Rebecca joined the Letters Foundation as a Consultant in 2016. Rebecca then served as a Domestic Violence Advocate at the Massachusetts General Hospital from 2014 to 2017.
In 2017, Rebecca joined Vertex Pharmaceuticals and gradually progressed from an Associate Case Manager to a Patient Support Specialist, a Senior Patient Support Specialist, and finally a Principal Patient Support Specialist.
From 2021 to 2022, they worked as a Project Manager at Atman Health. Currently, Rebecca is employed as a Customer Success Manager at TytoCare, starting in October 2022.
Rebecca Smith obtained a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Eastern Nazarene College from 2008 to 2016. In the same period, they attended both Boston University School of Social Work and Boston University School of Theology, where they earned a Master of Social Work (M.S.W.) in Clinical Practice and a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) in Global and Community Engagement, respectively. Additionally, Rebecca has obtained a certification as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker from the Association of Social Work Boards.
