Alex Vlastakis

Alex Vlastakis serves as President at tZERO Digital Asset Securities since 2024, leading a broker dealer specializing in digital asset securities. Vlastakis has been President of tZERO Group, Inc., overseeing tZERO Broker Services, since 2014, contributing to innovations in blockchain technology and cryptofinance. Under Vlastakis's leadership, SpeedRoute has operated since 2014, providing execution services to broker dealers in the U.S. In addition, Vlastakis has been President of tZERO Securities, LLC, a registered broker-dealer and Alternative Trading System, since its inception in 2014. Prior experience includes serving as Senior Vice President at ConvergEx Group, where Vlastakis focused on client relationships and business development, and holding Vice President roles at BNY Brokerage and Sonic Technologies. Vlastakis began a career in finance as a Financial Advisor at UBS after earning a BS in Finance from St. John's University in 2000.
