U Mohammad and Associates was established as a design practice in Kannur, Kerala. We have spent the past 29 years since then working collaboratively with our clients, consultants and contractors to deliver creative and effective designs that are culturally, commercially and environmentally enduring.

Our design practice is widely recognised as a design leader within the design community in North Kerala, operating across multiple sectors - from high-rise apartment and condominium buildings, industrial projects and commercial spaces, recreational and residential commissions and beyond. 

The architectural language is pluralist, generated by context – of its time and of its place. Each design having its own unique character and identity while carefully responding to context and optimizing available resources. A permissive architecture with personality.

Ar U Mohammad, the principal architect over the years has constituted a working method that is highly conscious of a project timeline and budget and has proven methods for delivering on both.  These advantages are conveyed to each client through detailed dialogue and a highly transparent project management process.
