Rob Morrison

Deputy Director

Rob Morrison currently serves as the Deputy Director and Chief of the Joint Accelerator (J8X) at U.S. Indo-Pacific Command, where responsibilities include driving integration for critical warfighting programs. Prior to this role, Rob Morrison was a Senior Executive and National Security Consultant at ACTTHawaii from July 2017 to October 2023, and held senior leadership positions at US Pacific Command, including Director of the Commander's Action Group, from August 2013 to June 2016. Rob Morrison also served as the Director of Plans and Policy in the White House Situation Room under the National Security Council from November 2010 to July 2013, focusing on national security communications. Earlier military experience includes extensive roles with the US Navy, such as Executive Assistant to the Navy Staff and Commanding Officer of HSV 2 SWIFT. Rob Morrison holds a Master of Arts in National Security Policy Studies from the U.S. Naval War College and a degree in General Science, Computer Science from the United States Naval Academy.
