Stanley Yang

Stanley Yang is an Integrated Engineering Co-op Student at the University of British Columbia, where they major in Mechanical Engineering and minor in Electrical Engineering. Stanley has contributed to the UBC Concrete Canoe team, designing a 20 ft concrete canoe that achieved 2nd place at the ASCE PNW competition by optimizing a sustainable mix. They also served as the Aerostructures Lead at UBC Rocket, successfully leading a six-member team in the design and testing of a single-stage sounding rocket, which placed 4th at Launch Canada and 6th at the Spaceport America Cup (IREC). Currently, Stanley is set to undertake an engineering internship at Scenario in 2025, following their project engineering internship at MGM MACAU.
