Alan Thomas

Alan Thomas, PharmD, has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical field, currently serving as a Safety Scientist at UBC since December 2020. Previous roles include working as a Pharmacy-Clinical Prior Authorization Technician at AmeriHealth Caritas for a brief period, and as a Drug Safety Associate at Sollers, where responsibilities encompassed data entry and quality checks of individual case safety reports. Prior to these positions, Alan gained experience as a Pharmacy Technician at RITE AID, contributing to inventory and pharmacy management, and as a Clinical Pharmacist Intern at Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre, participating in patient care rounds and documentation. Alan obtained a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre between 2013 and 2019.
