Asma Riaz -Cisa

Asma Riaz is a Senior Manager Global Quality and Compliance at UBC since November 2022, having previously held roles including Senior Quality Compliance Auditor and Quality Compliance Auditor. Asma has extensive experience in quality management and compliance, illustrated by a tenure at Toastmasters International from July 2019 to June 2023, where Asma served as Vice President of Public Relations, Division E Director, and Area 39 Director. Prior roles include Senior Quality Manager at CALYX and Senior Technology Quality Assurance Auditor at PAREXEL. Asma has a background in analytical chemistry as an Analytical Chemist at Patheon and QC Analyst at Boots-Manufacturing. A second degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do, Asma also served as an instructor at Walsall Elite Martial Arts and held the position of President at Walsall Speakers. Asma holds a CISA certification from ISACA obtained between 2019 and 2023 and a BSc in Pharmaceutical Science (Drug Delivery) from De Montfort University completed in 2009.
