Adele Diamond, PhD, FRSC, serves as the Head of the Division of Developmental Cognitive Neuroscience in the Department of Psychiatry at The University of British Columbia since September 2004. Diamond is a Founding Fellow at the Institute of Mental Health, UBC, and has held positions as an Associate Member in the Department of Psychology at UBC since 2005. Previously, Diamond was a Canada Research Chair Professor of Developmental Cognitive Neuroscience at Brandeis University, alongside roles at UMass Medical School, where responsibilities included Professor of Psychiatry and Director of the Center for Developmental Cognitive Neuroscience. Diamond has also held positions at several prestigious institutions, including MIT, University of Pennsylvania, Washington University in St. Louis, and Harvard University. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Developmental Psychology from Harvard University and postdoctoral training in Neuroanatomy at Yale School of Medicine, with a Bachelor's Degree from Swarthmore College.
