Feng Jiang

Feng Jiang is an Associate Professor and Tier II Canada Research Chair in Sustainable Functional Biomaterials at The University of British Columbia, where they have been fostering research in the field since 2023. Previously, they served as a Tier II Canada Research Chair from 2018 to 2023 and as an Assistant Professor at the same institution. Feng completed a Ph.D. in Polymer Chemistry at Virginia Tech in 2011, following an M.S. in Wood Science from the Chinese Academy of Forestry and a B.S. in Wood Science and Wood Products from Northwest A & F University. Their research experience spans various institutions, including significant roles as a Postdoctoral researcher at University of California, Davis, and as a Research Assistant at both Virginia Tech and the Chinese Academy of Forestry.
