John Steen

John Steen serves as the Director of the Bradshaw Research Institute in Minerals and Mining (BRIMM) and holds the title of EY Distinguished Scholar in Global Mining Futures at The University of British Columbia since July 2019. Prior to this role, John was a Senior Research Fellow at the Australian Institute of Business and Economics from August 2015 to July 2019 and held various positions, including Associate Professor and Senior Lecturer, at UQ Business School from January 2007 to July 2019. Additionally, John was a Visiting Scholar at The University of British Columbia for a short period in 2017. John's academic credentials include a degree from The University of Queensland, earned between 2001 and 2003.
