Tor Aamodt

Tor Aamodt is a Professor at The University of British Columbia, where they have held this position since 2016, after serving as an Associate Professor from 2011 to 2016 and as an Assistant Professor prior to that. They were also a Visiting Associate Professor at Stanford University from 2012 to 2013. Tor's past experience includes roles as a Senior Architect at NVIDIA (2004-2006) and an intern at Intel (2002-2003) and AlliedSignal Canada (1995-1996). Tor earned a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Toronto in 2006, following a Master’s degree in the same field and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Science.
