Simona Mazza

Simona Mazza, PhD, MBA, serves as the Director of Digital Advisory at UBDS since January 2022, overseeing the profitability and development of commercial and technical value propositions while managing team efficiencies and business development initiatives. Prior to this role, Simona held positions including Managing Consultant at Chaucer, where emphasis was placed on leading digital transformation projects, and Vice Chair for Corporate Social Responsibility at Young MCA, focusing on pro-bono engagements with charities. Previous experience includes product stewardship management at Cuts Ice Limited and leadership roles within the Swiss Young Chemists Association. Simona holds a PhD in Catalysis and Organometallic Chemistry from EPFL, an MBA from Cambridge Judge Business School, and multiple degrees in chemistry from Università degli Studi di Parma.
