Jorge Fiz

Jorge Fiz has over 25 years of work experience in various roles. From 2012 to present, they have been the Operations Manager at Ubee Interactive, where they are responsible for S&OP, Sales Forecasting and Demand Planning, and Latin America Logistics Operations. From 2006 to 2012, they were the Order Desk Manager and Process Innovation Manager at SAMSUNG, where they managed the Order Desk function and optimized the demand planning and order fulfillment for all Samsung products to Spain distributors, enforced price controls with sales people to meet profitability guidelines, created Standard Operating Procedures for all functions in the company, managed a reporting system with 200 users, and 600 process documents, and conducted internal audit and passed corporate audit by HQ. From 2000 to 2006, they were the Billing Manager and Financial Systems Analyst at ACT CONFERENCING, where they managed the billing team to produce timely and accurate invoicing, maintained a system of pricing tariffs and special offers, documented billing processes, elicited requirements for Sybase billing system, analyzed product pricing and created new pricing structure, and coordinated Great Plains Dynamics client/server migration. From 1995 to 2000, they were the Sales Analyst and Regional Sales Manager, South America at THE GATES RUBBER COMPANY, where they analyzed sales metrics for the conversion to Oracle financials, defined and communicated business needs to the developers, managed sales operation in 5 countries with 35% in-country work, negotiated directly with distributors to reach sales objectives, and increased gross margin from 30 % to 42 % over a 4-year period.

Jorge Fiz received their MBA in International Business from Emporia State University, their BS in International Business from McPherson College, and studied Economics and Business Administration at Universitat de Barcelona. Jorge also completed the Management Training program at Crestcom International, earning the title of The Bulletproof Manager. In addition, Jorge is a Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) from APICS, obtained in May 2015, and a Certified Supply Chain Analyst (CSCA) from ISCEA - International Supply Chain Education Alliance, obtained in January 2012.
