Adam Bentley has a strong legal background and extensive experience in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic transactions. Adam began their career as a Corporate Associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP in 2007. In 2014, they joined O'Melveny & Myers LLP as Counsel, where they advised clients on various legal matters and managed associate lawyers. In 2016, Bentley became the Legal Counsel for Otto, a self-driving technology company acquired by Uber, where they provided legal guidance on self-driving and autonomous vehicle issues, logistics, and corporate matters. Adam then transitioned to Uber and held multiple leadership roles, advancing to the position of Senior Director. In this role, they led and managed the legal team for Uber Freight, providing strategic advice to senior leadership and overseeing significant acquisitions. In 2022, Bentley joined Uber Freight as the Head of Legal, further expanding their influence and expertise in the legal field.
Adam Bentley earned their BA degree in Public Policy Studies from Duke University in 2001. Adam then went on to attend the University of Virginia School of Law, where they obtained their JD degree from 2004 to 2007.
