Greg Umstead

Greg Umstead has extensive experience in the logistics and transportation industry. Greg is currently serving as the Vice President of Operations at Uber Freight. Prior to this role, they held various positions at Transplace, including Senior Vice President of Operations and Director of Supply Chain Operations. At Transplace, they were responsible for developing and implementing strategies, overseeing company operations, and ensuring efficiency and cost-effective management of resources. Before joining Transplace, Greg worked at Chopper 79 Inc., DDS, where they served as a Project Manager and National Account Manager. In these roles, they focused on designing and implementing new systems, providing logistical solutions, and managing staffing and operations for a multi-account logistics and warehousing operation. Greg started their career as a Warehouse/Operation Supervisor, where they were responsible for overseeing distribution activities for a major automotive company.

Greg Umstead attended Montclair State University from 1990 to 1995, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration.
