Larry Wei

Larry Wei has a diverse work experience that spans various roles and industries. Larry is currently working as an Engineering Lead at Uber Freight since July 2020. Prior to that, from July 2015 to July 2020, Larry worked at Uber as a Staff Software Engineer, where they specialized in mobile and Android development. Larry was involved in product and platform work across multiple Uber apps. Before joining Uber, Larry worked at Facebook as a Data Scientist from July 2014 to July 2015, where they focused on ads measurement. Larry's experience at Facebook exposed him to various tools and technologies, including Hive, Presto, MySQL, Python, PHP, JavaScript, React, R, Tableau, and ETL. Larry also gained knowledge in areas such as machine learning, attribution modeling, and marketing. In 2013, Larry worked as an Analyst at Analysis Group, and prior to that, they held internships at Alcatel-Lucent, Income Research & Management, Rehabtek LLC, and Cool-X LLC, where they gained experience in roles such as product management, software engineering, and credit analysis.

Larry Wei attended Amherst College from 2009 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree. Larry triple majored in Computer Science, Economics, and Mathematics. In 2016, Larry completed an iOS Bootcamp at CodePath. Prior to college, they studied at Naperville North High School from 2005 to 2009.
