Ravi Sharma

Ravi Sharma has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Ravi currently works at Uber Freight as an Engineering Lead and Senior Software Engineer, a position they started in 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Transplace, an Uber Freight Company, as a Senior Software Engineer from 2017-2022. Ravi also worked at Transplace as a Senior Software Developer (Consultant) in 2017, where they focused on test-driven development using various Java technologies.

Before joining Transplace, Ravi worked at ADT as a Full Stack Lead Java Developer from 2016-2017, where they were part of the Self Service Web agile team. Ravi also had experience at Sabre Airline Solutions as a Senior Java Developer from 2014-2016, where they worked on an e-commerce SAAS solution for travel booking.

Prior to that, Ravi worked as a Java Agile Consultant at BCBS TX from 2011-2014, as a Technology Architect at Infosys from 2005-2011, as a Consultant at Kanbay from 2004-2005, as a Software Engineer at Keane from 2003-2004, and as an Associate System Consultant at Software Moguls (I) Pvt. Ltd. from 2002-2003.

Ravi has extensive experience in Java technologies, including Java 7/8, Swing, Spring Framework, Spring Data, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, REST, and Micro Services. Ravi is also proficient in a range of other tools and technologies such as Selenium, Docker, Oracle, SQL, Git, JIRA, and Jenkins.

Ravi Sharma completed their education with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Holkar Science College, DAVV, Indore in 1998. Later, they pursued a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya from 1999 to 2002. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications, including Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, Spring Professional, Verified International Academic Qualifications from World Education Services (WES), PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), and Query Microsoft SQL Server 2012 from Microsoft. Ravi also holds certifications in Java Development with Apache Cassandra from DataStax Academy, Oracle ATG Web Commerce Suite 10 Implementation Developer from Oracle, and Sun Certified Java Professional from Sun.
